A New WC‐Based Tool Material with High Comprehensive Mechanical Properties

چکیده

In this article, a new WC- Al2O3 composite tool material is successfully fabricated by vacuum hot-pressed sintering process with high hardness and flexural strength as well fracture toughness, which solved the problem of mutual restriction between toughness existing WC-Co materials. By adding Al2O3, WC-based cemented carbide significantly improved, are also improved. The mode WC-Al2O3 composites transgranular/intergranular mixed due to addition more energy consumed during crack propagation, thus improving composites. When content 5 wt%, comprehensive mechanical properties best, 12.3 ± 1.0 MPa· m1/2, 1385 65 MPa, Vickers 22.8 1.6 GPa. temperature holding time optimized. materials excellent at low 1450 °C using appropriate original powder particle size. improved while maintaining toughness.

A new multiferroic material, CuBr(2) , is reported for the first time. CuBr(2) has not only a high transition temperature (close to liquid nitrogen temperature) but also low dielectric loss and strong magnetoelectric coupling.
